Where on Earth will they go next?
May. 14th, 2005 10:08 pmSo, to date Dr Who has featured the following settings:
Earth, 2005
Earth, 5 billion years hence
Earth, 1869
Earth, 2006
Earth, 2012
Earth, 200,000
Earth, 1987
and next week:
Earth, 1940 or so
OK, to be pedantic two of these were set on space stations orbiting Earth. But do we see a bit of a trend here?
There was a line in tonight's episode where the Doctor noted that Rose was more interested by the TARDIS being a time machine than it being able to travel in space. Is that RTD's take on the series? Or is it, as suggested, that he suspects that any alien location is just going to end up looking like the BBC Chalk Pit?
