I see that [livejournal.com profile] turkmenbashi's cronies are busy denying that one of his MiGs got slightly too friendly with an RAF C-130 passing (with full clearance, one might add) through his airspace.

Seeing as I have it on good authority that the Hercules in question now sports quite a natty line in extra-trimmed propellor blades, perhaps [livejournal.com profile] turkmenbashi will favour us with an explanation of exactly how it did get that way. Heroic super-size Turkmen pigeons, perhaps?

I thought the traditional explanation for holes in aircraft was "moths".

And prop-blade damage was down to "woodpeckers".

Is Uzbek plot I tell you! Glorious Turkmen air force has clean pilot's license! No points at all. He has never been caught speeding wrong way through Kazakh airspace! Oh no!

Anyway, cannot be ours, as RAF would have noticed big picture of me on side of plane.

(Also, am assured that Bristol Fighter is not jet ...)

And there we were thinking that you had a pair of Bristols.
