...and whilst I'm off sticking paper to myself the wall, a plea for advice: does anyone have recommendations for good lunch pubs near Imperial College? I'm running a meeting there next Saturday and would like to offer my fellow committee members (about ten of us) a choice other than the student grub bar. It's now 13 years since I graduated and I have only a hazy recall of most of the local drinking holes.*

Ideally, we're looking for somewhere which is within 5 to 10 minutes walk and which does a range of food, including veggie.

The Queens Arms does a pretty good lunch during the week (don't know about Saturdays though). This is the only place we regularly go to. Beyond that, there's a Wagamamma on High Street Ken which can do the job pretty well. Be warned that the Enismore, a great little pub in the Mews south of college, that did rather nice lunches, is now closed.

Sorry not to be more helpful!

I'll check with TQA that it does food on Saturdays, but it looks like a good choice. Ta!

I'd be inclined to mosey on down to the area around the station - there's the Hoop And Toy, though I'm not sure what their food's like, and the Italian across the road is cheep, cheery, quick and tasty.
