You've probably seen news reports about the US attempt to publicise the identity of fugitive members of the former Iraqi regime via customised playing cards.

I would like to propose a far more effective British alternative:

Fugitive Iraqi Leadership Top Trumps

The advantages? Well, putting pictures of Iraqi leaders on playing cards just distracts from their utility for card games. But with Top Trumps, the details you're trying to spread are the whole point! Of course, you'll only want to issue each squaddie with a starter pack of 30 or so, thus encouraging play, competition and the keen exchange of stats on Ba'ath party supremos...

Disclaimer: Major Clanger sincerely apologises to anyone who finds this to be in dubious taste. My only excuse was that this was too good a chance to pass up. And if the Iraqi Minister of (Dis)Information can have his own fan web site, why not his own Top Trump card?

I am very tempted to email it to some of my friends at PJHQ, if only for amusement value. Should any of them feel it worth taking further, well, I wouldn't stop them :-)
