Not Stuck In An Airport After All

...but safely back in UK, and even with all my luggage (we rather nervously agreed to have it checked through straight from Tampa to London rather then collecting and re-checking it at Washington). As it happened there was no delay at all at Dulles this time, so we arrived at the departure gate with about two hours to spare! The flight back was not full either, so although I didn't get the bulkhead set I had on the way out (i.e. extended legroom) I was able to get two seats to myself and stretch a little bit. Still got bugger all sleep though - that's just something I don't do on aeroplanes.

Need another new mood icon - Jet Lagged!

Yes - I just can't sleep on planes either.

Mind you, I have had some success when using earplugs, so you might want to try this next time you fly.
