From Jeff VanderMeer, a lovely piece about a pet capybara. I've been very fond of these critters ever since seeing some at Shepreth Wildlife Park; I love the way they always have a somewhat supercilious expression, probably because they can't help but look down their nose at you. (Hence this particular userpic!)
Alas, having one as a pet is not really an option unless I move to somewhere with a field and space for a capybara pond.
