I've seen online somewhere a list of science fiction's many alternatives to 'fuck'. 'Frak' tops my list (and beats the hell out of Farscape's rather pathetic 'frell').

I just thought it was a derivative of the widely used 'freakin'.

Didn't US films at one time use 'frig' as a substitute for 'fuck'? Clearly that has a different meaning too.

I haven't seen much of the latter-day BG, but the article suggests that "frack" has lost its "c" and "felgercarb" has become "feldergarb." Accurate?
