Loitering in the Loft
Sep. 2nd, 2007 07:57 pmIn preparation for the Big Move, we now have some usable loft space; I finally got around to putting down some loft boards, so there is now a 6' x 8' area suitable for moderately bulky items to be hidden away in. Not quite as grand as some attics I've seen, but it will relieve the pressure on our dining room, which is in the process of being converted into a storage unit for the duration of our sojourn in Edinburgh.
Whilst footling around in the loft I noticed that the flexible duct from the front bedroom shower extractor fan had come adrift, so presumably we've been pumping warm humid air into the loft space. No obvious signs of resulting damage, but I nonetheless applied the universal wonder engineering material and fixed the problem.
