Thumbing through the TV channels last night I found that ITV4 was showing You Only Live Twice, which I'd not seen since, oh, 1960s Bond movies used to be regular Christmas Day fare.

Good heavens; I'd forgotten just how much YOLT was the trope-setter for 60s spy movies in general, or at least the image of them we have that is parodied in films like Austin Powers and The Incredibles. Hollowed-out volcano base? Jumpsuited minions? Monorail pods? Fluffy white cats? It has 'em all.

And, of course, Little Nellie.
