Just been to see Bill Bailey. Inspired lunacy throughout, but the highlight was definitely his Hillbilly Banjo version of Lady In Red. It was so screamingly funny I actually can hardly remember it beyond it making me laugh so hard I thought I'd cough my spleen up. And as if that wasn't enough, he proceeded to give us Pop Goes The Weasel as it would be performed by Kraftwerk...

He is hilarious. Definitely another reason for me to want to go to England.

By the way, what is that creature in your icon?

It is a picture of Major Clanger himself.

Indeed it is Major Clanger himself, from The Clangers.

Oh, I see! A Google search provides a much better picture of him (http://www.sugarlumpstudio.co.uk/html/figures/cl_major.htm).

Yay! Saw BB when he came to Cardiff. Didn't do the Kraftwerk number tho' - damn him his excellent musical parody improvisations! DVD out in November, in time for Xmas :-)
I have to respect anyone who can play a theramin(sp?) at all.
