A couple of days ago darth_hamster and I were walking through central Birmingham and noticed one of these.

"What is that thing?" I asked.

The answer, I found today, is 'the car you are renting for the next week'. I am already bracing myself for my brother's comments when we do our round of family visiting.

I've seen worse. At least it ought to be reasonably comfortable, and the suspension is high enough that you should be able to cope with water on the roads.
