One of the things I love about ThinkGeek is the way that their product lineup gets even more fun at around, uh, the beginning of April.

And they've hit the jackpot again with the PLAYMOBIL™ Apple Store, complete with optional queue pack. (Buy six of the latter to simulate the Bull Ring centre last Friday.)

In the past some of ThinkGeek's early April specials have been so popular they've ended up as actual products. Will this one join them...?

I'm guessing they'll start making the Bonsai Kitten.

Have already added my vote to their "want this for real" list.

Ditto - that's the item I can really see selling.

The closest I've seen Playmobil do to commercial partisanship is World Cup team representatives, i.e. one figure each with each team's colors.

I'm not sure about this one...

My guess is that it is an April Fool but I'd like to hear anyone else's opinion before I explain why I've come down on the side of the devils on it. Damn fine piece of work though.

Top Gear would have been talking it up months ago, and the acceleration seems highly optimistic.
