IET Xmas Lecture - The Story of ARM (Wed 15 Dec, London)

The IET's Christmas Lecture next Wednesday evening (15th December) will be on the story of the ARM Microprocessor. It's free, includes refreshments, and is at the IET's London HQ at Savoy Place, near Somerset House.

To attend, you need to register via the above link, but as noted, it's free. I'll be going (I remember the ARM in its original incarnation as the Acorn RISC Machine) - is anyone else interested? There might be the danger of adjourning to a pub afterwards...

I can probably give you one if you like. I found my original ARM chip/board in an antistatic bag a few days ago - it had been replaced by a StrongARM.

Sadly, I'm at my company's Christmas dinner that night; ironically, quite a large number of the people there are those who originally designed the ARM and the Acorn machines using them!

Well I'd have to be at the IET not long after 6pm to register. How about meeting at the Coal Hole at 5.15 or so beforehand?
