Live Update! More small pink blobby things arriving as we speak ("like haemorrhoids with little paws", says bugshaw).

This has been pretty obviously on the cards for the last couple of days, with Jerry looking more pregnant than you would have thought it possible for a gerbil to look. By last night she actually had bumps. And they were moving...

At 7am there was 1 - at 9am there were three. We will be calling them 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3.

It seems to be quite hard work - Jerry bends over and heaves a bit, then turns round to see if anything has come out. It usually hasn't, and she looks a bit confused that there is nothing there after all her pushing. Repeat until birth.

This release has finished with g2.6 - release 3 should be available in 2-4 months.
