Finally sorted my act out and booked a ticket for the Sci-Fi London Oktoberfest event at the Royal Greenwich Observatory tonight. (Online booking seems not to be working, but there are still tickets if you phone up and book.) So, who else will be there, apart obviously from maeve_the_red and paulcornell2?

Even a solitary can of lager would mean it had more alcohol than the Montreal worldcon (other than the two official award parties I attended, where a small bottle of beer cost about four quid).

Um ... You did come to our party on the Friday at worldcon didnt you? I can assure you we had way more than a small bottle of beer ... and it was free ;-)

Sadly while I have a ticket for tonight my health just isnt up to getting there- and I had a ticket for Trek in the dome too ...
