'Rusting' doesn't do justice

Whilst we were waiting in line to get into the main viewing area at Battersea Power Station we had plenty of time to admire and photograph a pair of riverside cranes . If they are preserved as part of any development of the site I hope that they actually leave them as far as possible to rust - the colours and textures are incredible. Again, I think these pictures repay viewing at original size.

The picture above in particular I've enhanced to bring out the textures of the rusting metal. I don't see this as 'cheating' - images like this in particular are more about the artistic impression than being a faithful record, and for me what is striking about this close-up view is the pattern of dripping rust and the shadows of the embossed lettering, so why not emphasise them?
