There's a big difference between using an airbrush just to lay down paint (albeit much more evenly than with a normal brush) as I was and actually drawing with one, which is a much more difficult skill to pick up. There are some pictures and videos here of someone doing freehand camouflage painting on a model aircraft but that takes years of practice and probably no drink for a month!
