The Case for Wearing Slippers

As threatened, one painful toe. This is what happens when you walk around without slippers on and find the bottom end of a wardrobe the hard way.



The really annoying thing is that I did the same thing to the little toe on my other foot about six weeks ago.

Yes, it was even quite sunny. And in fact it's not bad now (Thursday morning), although how long that will last is another matter.

I suspect not as I can walk on it - it is sore rather than very painful.

Double ouch!! If I thought it would do any good, I would advise you to have it xrayed. There's not a whole lot you can do for it if it is broken, other than taping it to the adjacent toe and be very careful with it for several weeks. Keep an eye on the circulation. Oh, and take drugs. Lots of drugs.
