Tales of Mystery and Imagination, The Alan Parsons Project. We APP fans seem to be a depressingly rare breed; at least, I was the only person in the audience to laugh at the relevent joke in Austin Powers 2.
Name a book you own that no-one else on your friends list does:
Lots of specialist techie stuff, but I'll pick F-4 Phantom: A Pilot's Story by Robert Prest. A wonderful example of fanwriting outside of fandom, the author's tales of life as a 1970s RAF fighter pilot are superbly-written and some of the most evocative descriptions of flight I've ever seen.
Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that no-one else on your friends list does:
If we're allowed TV series compilations, then Reboot Series 3. Early (but still very nice) CGI animation with incredibly witty and reference-loaded scripts.
Name a place that you have visited that no-one else on your friends list has:
Goose Green, East Falkland.
