major_clangerWell, Konica Minolta were true to their word. In the post today was a padded envelope containing a small bottle of Goo Gone and a comprehensive illustrated booklet on how to remove sticky labels or their residue from the transfer belt of your printer. In fact, it was clearly KM's standard issue printer-delabelling kit, as sent by return of post to every doofus who clogs up their Magicolor with gummed paper.
But it works! Application with a soft cloth, gentle rubbing and then wiping clean with cotton wool left a nice clean transfer belt and, more importantly, blotch-free prints. But no more labels for Mr Laser Printer.
