Hmmm. We're definitely keeping the parents, so introducing cats might not be a Completely Brilliant Plan. But thanks for the offer...
(We've not decided yet whether to keep Ben and Jerry(f) apart so as to prevent more little blobs arriving or to keep them together and produce a stream of small gerbils for the local shop. The latter option is in some ways attractive but would make us nervous about leaving them in someone else's care during holidays etc.)
