Dec. 15th, 2004 10:19 pmThe results from my OU Law Exam came out today, which together with my coursework scores gives me my overall grade for the course.
Coursework: 86%
Exam: 72%
Overall result: Grade 1 Pass (Distinction)!!!
I'm very pleasantly surprised at this - I thought I'd done OK, but really wasn't expecting a Distinction. In fact, the normal criteria for one of those is 85% in both coursework and exams, but the results announcement noted that this could be varied for some courses. Evidently Law is a tough one, and the grade boundaries must have been moderated down a bit.
What this does mean is that I'm definitely motivated to carry on (a good thing as I've coughed up for the next course). One course down, three more to go...
