bugshaw, purpletigron, purplecthulhu, del_c and vicarage, plus G WINOLJ) undertook a practical research project later written up in a prestigious science journal:
An Appraisal of the Utility of a Chocolate Teapot
Going through some old emails, I am reminded that a little while back the Open University replicated our research - and filmed it!
