That's wonderful. I wonder where in the UK would lend itself to that sort of thing. Bentwaters/Woodbridge used to look pretty post-apocalyptic at one time.

I am assuming that there is an awful lot of forethought, liaison and negotiation required - it must be rather like doing on-location filming (something with which this sort of thing has a lot in common).

I have heard horror stories of urban LARPing colliding in rather embarrassing ways with the law enforcement community, and I'd be very wary of doing anything in central London these days!

You do here stories of shootouts in Londan that don't make the press. Perhaps having LARPers around would make a great cover story... must suggest that to a certain SF author.

A friend of mine does a lot of LARPing back in mother Russia, though I think he goes mostly for the fantasy stuff, but it is very popular and they do take it all pretty seriously.
