Not quite a Day of Rest!

Off to Ikea again - I need more storage space for the stuff currently in boxes. After my recent sort-out, I have about a crate less of stuff, but I have now winnowed down to Things I Want To Keep, some of which (cutlery and crockery) wants to be in the living/dining room. Hopefully I'll survive - I've managed before with my sanity almost intact.

Then off to do a wander round assorted pubs in or near N1 looking for a suitable venue for our quiz team to host 'home' matches, followed by the Pembury if I still have any brain left.

Goodluck!

It is perfectly possible to emerge from IKEA with one's sanity intact, and I have done it. Of course, I did go in with a detailed list, a rather large and strong Sherpa, and a total refusal to be sidetracked by anything else.

You're made of very stern stuff so I feel sure you'll survive. Good luck.

Simon, any chance of meeting you at the Penbury? I've never been, it seems like it's the perfect day for it, but I'm not sure if we want to go by ourselves...

I'll be there by 7 if not before.

I loved your previous mission report and look forward to the next one ... did you choose an alternate target (e.g. Edmonton or Wembley) for this mission? I've found the Croydon base friendlier than Wembley but not tried Edmonton yet ...
