The first two series are very good; they're what hooked me -- even though Channel 4 got cold feet about the first, and held onto it for a year or so after they'd acquired it before finally transmitting it. (And then broadcast the series late at night, perhaps in an attempt to ensure no one watched it. If so, they failed; the second and third series ran in prime time.)
The third series is also pretty good. The fourth....well, there's less input from Sorkin, but aside from that Channel 4 seems to have sat it, like the first, for a year or so before finally broadcasting it. (In the kidult hour on a Friday evening, perhaps again to minimise its audience.) You have to wonder why they bothered to acquire it in the first place.
