I was wondering if you'd want to be friended? You are probably thinking what the heck you have in common with a grandmother but after looking at your interests I can see we like some similar things. I also lived in the wonderful Edinburgh for 6 years, was married to an Army Air Corps pilot and loved the services life and have sons (and now a grandson) who love Lego. I loved making airfix model aircraft as a teenager. I am also impressed by your change in career. This is where we differ a lot as I am useless when it comes to studying. I have had several careers, nurse, paper tape punch operator and during my last working years I looked after large corporate telephone systems (fault finding and fixing, upgrading and project managing the installation of new systems). I won't be offended if you think I'm not the type of person you'd like on your friend's list. I'm a boring old lady read anyway ;)
