I can't remember quite where I saw it, but about a decade and a half ago I saw an outline of a Wrath of Khan filk based on West Wide Story. Two couplets that stuck in my memory:

Unlike the Dune musical (with Fremen chorus) that I've managed to almost completely obliterate from my memory, this sounded like something that I'd actually be willing to watch.
