A Farewell to Dialup

I now have broadband down here in Hampshire too, so goodbye to slow phone-hogging dialup links from the place I'm actually doing much of my net use from (i.e. during the week). This is a pleasant surprise actually, as my activation date was meant to be tomorrow, but when I set the router/modem up today I got a signal light and sure enough it all configured fine.

There's no way round one thing though; for the single room I live in down here, I now have a quite ridiculous cable and plug count :-)
